i have many many many stuff to do!! SOT, loud camp house matters, COG matters, prepare for mock cg, give tuition AND THE LIKE. haha. i learnt today at SOT that the phrase “AND THE LIKE” in Galatians 5:12 means etc etc etc… haha.

 

despite the many things to do, like wat Pastor said, divide and conquer!!!

school holidays were NEVER meant to be boring!!!

alright! it’s been quite some time since i last blogged huh! haha. well, firstly, EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD YAYY YAYY YAYY!!!!!!!

 

but now that exams are over, it seems like as tho i have much lesser time to blog! haha. =P

 

anyhows, SOT has gone full blast for me!! i officially started on thurs! and well, i could feel the strain and tiredness just attending SOT on thurs and fri. but even so, i have no regrets going to SOT this year!! (: ytd, i totally konked out at around 10plus. i slept till this morning around 930am! WAHAHHAHA. that’s close to 12 hours of sleep!

 

here’s an interesting fact that i learnt during SOT. pst meng told the SOT students this.. “a study has shown that if u sleep btwn 6-9 hours a day, u wont be obese. but if u sleep less than 6 hours or more than 9 hours a day, u will be obese..” i was like.. SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?!? haha. so well, after close to 12hours of sleep, i guess i’m one step closer to being obese huh! ahahahahahahah. =P

 

i’ve been going out ever since exams ended on wed! here’s a quick summary! (:

 

wed

i went to meet pauline at powerhouse. prayed with her for a while. went home to give tuition. went to meet ah cong, briony, royston, zoe and ernah for dinner! we had chicken rice and it was quite nice!! (: went for dessert at bugis after that! walked around.. waited for pauline to come and join us. shared rojak, had milo and chatted quite a bit while pauline was having dinner. well, i couldnt help but to feel like as tho i was just eating and eating non stop after my paper ended at 11am! i felt SO FULL and URGH. haha. i went home to weigh myself and to my horror of horrors, i put on 1kg!! i ate 1kg of food!! EEKS! haha.

I WENT TO SOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DDDDDDDDDDDDDD so happy!!!! pst aries taught that day! he’s very funny and i like the way he teaches!! (: had lunch with some team mbrs. joce and shiming were with us too. brainstormed for the theme for loud camp. came up with some interesting ones. hope that one of the themes that we propose will pass! (:

 

went home and took a short nap. started my new tuition with lewis!! he’s VERY cute! haha. sec 1 only!! but he’s like SUPER CUTE la! hehe. =PPPP hopefully can invite him for LOUD camp!!! (:

 

met up with EVER SO DEAREST SHU MIN!!!! YAYYYY!!! like after so long, we finally met up!! (: budget budget budget, so we just ate at the food court at AMK hub. and after that, we walked around aimlessly with me filling shu in abt my life and yanjingtangtang!! haha. and of course, shu min filled me in abt how life’s been for her! (:

another day at SOT!! i felt so tired! bumped into chi ba bom at paya lebar station! dunno whether its a good or bad thing not. hahaha. joking joking. had company all the way to boon lay. but we were too tired to talk.. so we just slept in the train all the way to boon lay! haha. QUEENIE!! DUN ANGRY HORRR… AHAHAHHA. (well, if those reading my blog dun understand wat i’m saying, it’s ok! it’s queenie’s little secret with me! ahahahahahaha. =PpPp)

 

anyway, pst meng taught at SOT! he’s AWESOME!!!!!!! i love it when pst meng teaches! he’s not only VERY funny, he’s VERY insightful and knowledgable too! and guess wat! i didnt sleep a wink during lesson coz pst meng was just TOO FUNNY to sleep in. haha. mock cg test was postponed to 2 weeks later.

 

my team celebrated my bday too!! 1 month belated!! haha. but still, i was really surprised and really touched too!! THANKS TEAM 1!!! loves!!!! (((:

 

caught the movie IRONMAN with ade, nic, zhiyu and rox!! it’s such a nice movie!! everyone shld watch it!!! really GOOD!!!! (: walked around at PS… went into this build-a-bear shop where all of us went crazy! haha. took quite a few photos using nic’s camera! waiting for the photos to come in and i’ll upload them!! (:

went home, had dinner, watched some TV and i konked out! didnt even get to watch survivor!

 

anyway, at SOT ytd (fri), pst meng shared abt ironman. he talked abt how when ironman had to depend his life on this gadget (it replaced his heart) becoz without it, he wouldnt be able to live, ironman became much more humble. tho in my opinion, wat really humbled ironman was the very fact that he realised the weapons which he created were actually destroying many lives rather than benefitting anyone. but wat pst told us during SOT was that, we shld all learn to depend our lives on God.. like how ironman was dependent on that gadget for his life. similarly, we must all come to the realisation that without depending on God in our lives, there’s really nth much we can do and nth for us to live for!

 

so God, i pray that not once will i live by my own strength, but to live every single day by YOUR strength! (:

freaking out!

alright, so i’ve gotten the segments that i’ll be taking for my SOT mock cell group tests on thurs and fri!

 

i’m taking preaching on thurs and praise on fri. i think preaching shldnt be a prob coz i did that during my missions trip last year alr. and i roughly have an idea on wat i wanna preach abt too. however, it’s the praise that is kinda freaking me out. coz firstly, i’m tone deaf. secondly, i’m not musically inclined. thirdly, i cant sing. and fourthly, i have no idea abt wat change of key and blah blah blah. haha.

 

God!! help me!!!

 

basically, i only have 5 mins for praise and 7 mins for preaching + ministry time!!! MAN!! i must bring down heaven in 5 mins and the fire of God in 7 mins!! i need the ANOINTING!!!

 

i tried getting some pointers from guan but he didnt help me much la!! GOSH!

anyway, my fren just had to make things worse by saying “poor nus students are the only ones left struggling with their exams..” like HEY!!!! i was like… WATEVA…………………………….
